Stage 8

After reading through my classmates posts the one that caught my attention was Alyssa’s. I think I like the fact that she’s open minded about many things such as gay marriage because that’s the kind of people we need. I know that gay marriage is a “sin” but it has been proved that it is not up to person it’s their genes. Believe it or not there’s people that up to this day are against gay people and their marriage. It’s insane that to this day there’s a lot of people who are afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone and try to look at the LGBQT community.

Another thing that caught my attention was the fact about how she talks about not having equality between females and males. I agree that this generation has become so blinded and closed minded. It is true, males do get sexually harassed too. Males can get raped, assaulted, abused (physically and mentally). But this I wouldn’t call it generation but the whole nation. There’s people all over the country, from all different ages that are thinking that males never get assaulted and that’s insane!

Finally, violence it’s written all over this country. Everyone knows it, you see gun violence everywhere, fights, wars; among those things. And I know that that’s everywhere in this world but us as one of the “top” country should be more self-aware and more focused on fixing the problems instead of causing more. We are a very tech-use country and instead of using it to spread love, peace and education we are using it to express violence. That’s scary because thanks to technology anyone can see what happens, even small children and teens.

Stage 7

Honestly, what can we say about this government? It has been a mess for the past year thanks to the candidates we had. Now, we have Trump as president elect. I don’t really know who was worse if him or Hillary, it was a complete disaster. But anyways, now it’s over and we must see to the future. How are the United States going to run? I remember seeing something where Hillary announced that she had offered her help to Donald Trump for the “sake” of the country. But is it really? I honestly don’t think she should be anywhere near a place where laws are made.

I don’t really know how Clinton had supporters, maybe because Obama was on her side or because of her husband, maybe because she’s a woman. Or maybe because she wanted to keep everything the same. Hillary keeps saying that thanks to Trump racism is back, but I don’t know what the hell she’s talking about because racism never left. You see it every day. Everywhere. I was scared that she would win because man I know Trump wasn’t a good candidate and he wanted the presidency but Hillary has been trying to get into the white house since her husband got out of it. Scary, because why does she want it so bad? Her husband didn’t really do anything to help this Country, she’s too late already. She had the chance but instead she just sat back and didn’t speak.

One of the reasons why I thought she didn’t win was because she was never alone. She never showed that she could run the country without her husband’s or Obama’s help. I would look at her speeches and her husband was always there. I don’t think she was ready to do it on her own. Who knows, maybe she needed more experience, or authority. Yeah, she’s a woman but we have all seen great leaders that are women. Maybe she wasn’t born to be our leader, but I’m sure we will see a woman in the future, Clinton let everyone see the bad side of a woman.
